A large-bore diameter range is a starting point for identifying a tool family. It does not describe the complete head, tube, machine, workpiece-support and inspection arrangement needed for a particular component.

Identify the named combination

The OMEGA product page distinguishes combined tools with different preceding stages and control arrangements. Its German counterpart also names particular bodies and configurations. Retain the actual assembly offered, not only the maximum diameter appearing elsewhere in the family description.

An advertised maximum length and diameter do not establish that every combination inside that rectangle is available or appropriate. Show the selected tool and the proposed component together.

Review the whole envelope

Include tool entry, processed travel, exit and return in the actual layout. Identify the required tube connection, support and control interface. A head that fits the nominal bore can still leave access or travel questions unresolved by its diameter label.

Published EN and DE OMEGA entries differ on a RIOF length boundary. The EN page also contains an inconsistent metric/inch pair for a claimed residual circularity value. Neither is used here as a threshold or acceptance requirement. Obtain the applicable controlled application specification before making a dimensional selection.

Geometry remains a separate result

ECOROLL’s technical article describes the floating skiving construction as following the prior bore. That context should remain beside broad product claims about geometric improvement. Identify the actual characteristic changed and the measured coverage rather than promoting a family description to whole-bore acceptance.

The path diagram below uses assumed points to illustrate coverage. Endpoint agreement does not establish the interior path, and a tool-range claim does not establish the measuring instrument’s access.

Make the proposal comparable

Retain the supplied blank state, stages included and final inspection scope. If another offer adds preparation or uses another control assembly, describe that difference before comparing cycle time or price.

Use the RFQ worksheet for the selected envelope and interfaces. Continue to OMEGA geometry for the construction or setup for the configured installation. No universal large-bore cut-off, corrective capacity or machine recommendation is derived from the public ranges.
